Tootle & Potter – Returns & Refunds Policy

We want you to love your handmade piece as much as we loved creating it.

If something isn’t quite right, you’re welcome to return your order within 30 days of receiving it. You don’t need to give a reason — although we always appreciate feedback so we can keep improving.

How to start a return

Just send us a clear message by email at hello@tootleandpotter.com letting us know you’d like to cancel or return your order. Your 30‑day window begins on the day you (or someone you’ve nominated) receives the parcel.

Once your return is safely back with us, we’ll process your refund within 30 days, using the same payment method you used at checkout. There are no extra fees for refunds.

Conditions for Returns

To keep things fair and consistent, returned items must:

  • Have been purchased within the last 30 days

  • Be in their original packaging and in the same condition you received them

Items that can’t be returned

Because of the nature of our work, some pieces aren’t eligible for return:

  • Custom or personalised items made especially for you

  • Items that can’t be returned for hygiene reasons once opened

  • Goods that naturally deteriorate or have passed their expiry date

  • Items that have become inseparably mixed with other materials after delivery

  • We may need to decline a return if it doesn’t meet the conditions above.

Sending Your Return

You’ll be responsible for the cost and risk of posting items back to us. Please return them to:

2 Birkdale Green LS177SP

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we can’t refund items lost or damaged in transit.

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift and sent directly to you, we’ll issue a gift credit for the value of the return. If the gift giver had the order sent to themselves first, the refund will go back to them.

A Note on Handmade Pieces

Every Tootle & Potter piece is handmade, which means small variations in colour, texture, or finish are part of their charm. These natural quirks aren’t considered faults — they’re what make your item one‑of‑a‑kind!
